Looking for a place to chase reds ( Dulac / Cocodrie / Pointe aux Chenes )

Not specifically a spot but looking for a launch where I can find some fishable water.
thought about just putting in off 56 and running around in Lake Quitman / boudreaux. is this a terrible idea?
Ill be in a small bass type boat with a 50 so trying not to run too far or put myself in a bad position. Tia

Fish the canals/marsh behind Lumcon
Go to Bay Tambour, right past the Texaco Camp on the right- it's now a pretty big installation called "Rincon de Sanchez"...
There are a BUNCH of little islands there- it's called the Bay St. Elaine Oil and Gas field on the map. Dead shrimp under a cork- you'll have a blast.
