Anyone have one of the following?
How often do you have to change out the blades?

Have you looked at the Dexter Russell 3576? I use it to skin and filet. Best knife I ever used on game.

Save yourself the trouble sharping a blade.

He wouldn't have to sharpen the knives listed in the OP.

My FIL has the Havalon and I have the OE. I prefer the OE because of the gut blade.

outdoor edge swing blade is the best knife i have ever owned. Everything in one, sharp sharp knife, i never go on a hunt without it

I have a Havalon. I usually go 5-6 deer before changing the blade. I could definitely go more but around 5 or 6 is when the dropoff in edge becomes more apparent.

Agreed. I have both in the OP. Not sure the blades are any different IMO. I like the Outdoor Edge cause it's a little bigger. This is the one you need.

Havalon.

Several deer per blade.
Usually only one hog per blade.
