FWIW I have no issue with anyone using online resources like this to find a place to hunt. Just thought it was pretty ironic that if you would have said $1-3k budget people would have told you to "GTFO" or "just buy land or hunt with the poors on public land"

I dont think anyone on here has told you GTFO, I guess some of us can come off rough. The fact of the matter is that land is expensive in LA and good land with quality hunting is as high as eagle pussy. shite I just told a guy willing to spend 10K that wasn't going to cut it in the area of the state that would even be worth it. If your budget is 5K or less I wouldn't even waste my time looking in LA, look in MS and ARK. Cant say about TX but there is a shite ton of land there.

Well I've never started a "let me know of any openings in your deer lease" thread so it was never told to me, but I've seen a few people start them on here and they usually aren't this well received.

Because everybody knows that with that kinda budget you're pissing in the wind. not that good places aren't out there for that cost, its just everybody and their brother is also looking for it. Myself included.

And if I know of a good place in that price range I damn sure aint posting about it on here before I get myself locked in.

3 in 4. Thought this one would be there as long as I wanted it but the landowner who isn't big on hunting but leased for the money is now getting royalties from an oil well. Said she doesn't need the lease money any more.

Been bouncing around trying to find the right place and knew that wasn't it but it was very convenient. The search continues. Looks like Ill be putting in for tags in Kansas if I haven't found anything by next month

Yeah having one pulled is worse than not finding one. I've let myself out of 3 in the last 6 years cause they weren't worth what I paid. Well 2:3 weren't, I'm regretting getting out of one of them.

If the land to members ratio is right and they aren't running dogs or anything always give it 2 years.

In 2 of those clubs I saw 6 deer in 2 years. The one I regret was due to the on Cat Island, prefer the hills over the swamp, but the River made it damn near inaccessible most of the time I could hunt it. Back on the waiting lists till something comes up

HIJACK!!

Feliciana Tiger Fan or other local W.F. hunters, what's a fair rate for a lease in W.F. Parish??

I'm talking about a small piece big enough for 1 stand?

Thanks in advance.
