Looking for a boat mechanic around Laffy.

Looking for a mechanic in the Laffy area to look at a 2008 Merc 150 Optimax, if the motor checks out I will be purchasing this boat. Just need someone to check over the motor.

In Lafayette, I'll second Rainey Redmond. If you don't mind a short drive, the folks at Iberia Marine on Hwy 90 Frontage Road in New Iberia are fantastic mechanics

I'm sure they are good as well. I'm an old friend of Redmond. Plus his top guy is about the only mechanic that will still work on the mercruiser's.
I like using dealers even if the cost might be a bit more. They have more to lose by underperforming
