They are really firing off tonight! Is it just me or have they been more abundant the past few years?

I've noticed seeing them more the last two years than I have in a long time it seems. When I was a kid, you always saw them.

They're pretty awesome, especially when you have young ones around.

I haven’t seen one down here in about 25 years. I just assumed that the mosquito spraying killed them off. I’m glad to hear that they’re making a come back.

Haven't seen them in Louisiana since I was a kid, but we did have them in our back yard in Atlanta when I lived there a couple years ago.

Saw several last night in my back yard flying through some pine trees. Always neat to see.

They are all over here South of Atlanta once it starts warming up. Still too cold here now.

Had some show up after dark when I was in my deer stand.

The littke lights freaked me out before I figured it out.

I'm going to have to check the pasture by my house.... last year it was loaded, right at Dusk they would put on a hell of a show.

I'm a bit jealous.

Hasn't been near warm enough yet where I'm at to see them. Usually don't see our first few until early may at best. Usually they emerge about two or three weeks before the cicadas get noisy.
