My camp's A/c coil needs to be replaced. It's 9 feet off the ground and we have no equipment to lift it. Right now the plan is to put it on the pontoon boat and position trailer where we can lift it from there. Any suggestion on other methods appreciated. Old picture taken after tornado 2 years ago.

Well obviously, push the old one off. You'll probably never get to do that again.

Next, I would find a cow trailer to work off of.

They don't weigh much so as long as you have a friend or two, you should be able to haul it up. Can take the top off that holds the fan to make it lighter then reassemble in place. Once that's done you can work on those screens and invest in some Jomax.

2 8' foot ladders and 3 friends should do it. Or rent a duct lift.

You still haven't cleared the tree limbs away?

Looks like my tool rental place has something similar to a Genie lift. That may be an option. The screens were fixed shortly after the tornado. There is a porch swing with chains and two hood springs connected to the rafters. The 100+ mph wind from the tornado must have had that swing dancing. It was bouncing of the screens and framing. Surprised it didn't destroy the swing.

They aren't that heavy. Use ropes from the roof.

Pics are from 2 years ago. Only pics I could find showing location of A/C unit. All the trees were removed and repairs made in May/June of 13.

Pic of pontoon boat shows it barely fits under house. So I was thinking put A/C in boat, position trailer under A/C platform, lift in place from boat.

I personally would find a friend with a tractor/front end loader...put the unit in the front end loader and lift it up...problem solved...
