Buddy planted it over here in AL. To answer the Mississippi question, I believe they had to register the plot with the county so it wouldn't be confused with a field of ganja. It turned out alright I believe. Nothing earth shattering

The deer wont let it come up. A buddy of mine has fences around some of his plots and the stuff was 3 ft high in a few weeks. The ones without fencing were eaten to ground and were a waste. If you cant keep them out don't waste your time. Stick with iron clay peas or some other plant.
