LDWF can extend deer season on DMAP property?

Any of you fellas ever heard of this?
I was just informed by our lease manager that we can hunt til Feb 25 in area 4 (always end Jan 31) with any weapon.
We've had a poor season on this property, so maybe that is why?
Either way, if true, I ain't complaining

I think I am area 4 (Jackson LA) and yeah, we are DMAP.

I hunted on a lease last year that was DMAP. We could hunt with rifle until the end of bow season. I'm not sure about actually extending the overall season, but I do know on DMAP property you can use a rifle until end of bow season.

You have to pay a little extra, not sure how much. It's called level 1 dmap I think.
