Definitely MOmarsh. Everything PP has said is spot on.
Another very versatile blind set up is FastStrike. Can be used anywhere and very mobile. Not a layout, just concealment

Bumping this. Question for you layout blind hunters. How do you handle shooting ducks at your 4-8:00? I was just thinking about those times when I have to make a shot behind me and was wondering if it was feasible to do that from a layout blind.

Put your blind so that you're turned a little to your right. Instead of feet straight at landing zone/decoys, set it up turned to 1 o'clock or so. Because you can obviously swing further left.

Doesn't help for behind you but widens your shooting position a little
