I'm dealing with his now. My old dog will be 16 in a few months. Had always been a outside dog till last winter.
Been a outstanding dog, no trouble and great hunter. I big dog to live this long is unreal. Couple old pictures of him

Now, he is going blind, can't hear to good and is tripping all over the place, but his tail is still dancing and he is getting the best of care.

He may live another 3 or 4 yrs. JRs normally have a long life span or atleast the ones we owned did. Mine is now 12 and in good health, her mother is 17 but fading fast.

She doesn't want a dog in the house, especially one that wants to come get in the bed with you. She's not a hater, but won't deal with that.

You should change the subject to Last Days of a good wife. Cause she wouldn't deal with it.

Feeding my old dog soft can dog food. His teeth are not all that good. He is a dog that I could put his food out and he would eat on it all day. Not a chow hound. I though he wasn't going to make last winter, but still around.
