There was a large 11Pt shot in Tallulah this past weekend. Apparently it scored 186. Will that make it the largest buck ever shot in LA?

Definitely not. You can look up Boone and Crockett scores online and sort it by state. And I'm sure there's many big bucks that were never entered

still a green score, have to wait for the 60 day drying period, and most backyard scorers are very generous, but if after the 60 day drying period he officially scores over 170 he will make the all time B&C book, which is huge

The list you just sent to me has 184 as the leader for rifle

Right, but the rack that you're talking about is an unofficial green score. After the drying period and official measurement, it'll likely be in the high 170's which is a phenomenal buck! Is the 184 score gross or net?

Do you have any pictures of it?

currently in LA top B&C

typical 184 6/8

non typical 281 6/8

and again these are "official" dry scores, you will be surprised at how much the score drops when it is done by an official scorer

any pics?

The one killed in Monterey was a hoss. Thinking it was killed on a piece of property that I use to hunt.

Remember to tell him that you need me to guide.
