Lake Verret this weekend

Morning OB'ers. Headed to my Mother in Laws this weekend in Pierre Part and found out that a neighbor is taking me out fishing. Anyone have any reports? I am used to just fishing out of the kayak or on the bulkhead on bayou tranquille. I have never been out on the actual lake. Any info would be appreciated.

I would think saturday should be decent. Havent heard any reports but catfish should be in the trees

Fished Tuesday for bass in lake verrett and canals off lake verrett. It sucked.... 1 fish from sun rise to noon. Good luck.
