Going to Key West this weekend and don't have much planned besides Songwriters Festival.
Any recommendations for fishing guides? Is there a central harbor area where people go and you can book last minute stuff (like the harbor in Cabo)?

If you are looking for a typical fishing charter for Pompano, Tarpon, maybe snapper than go on Stock Island. Go to Hurricane Hole Marina, they are a bunch of guides there. I think most are around $500-600

If you are looking to just do a little fishing for fun, and pretty cheap than I would recommend Gulf Stream Fishing. It's a party boat but they catch fish. Bring your own drinks and food and have a good time. It's $65

Should be easy to find what you're looking for. They have some pretty good deals also. I went on one of the big boats with about 30 people just to get on the water and it was $60. Some of my family members paid $300 or so for something smaller and came back with some small tuna.

i'm going out Saturday afternoon down there with Dave Brucker. Cpt Rock does the guide booking service that I used. He was recommended by a friend. 866-259-4205. It's reasonable pricing and no fuel surcharge.
