Any suggestions for decent pet insurance ? That’s not going to jack us around.

Put $35 a month in a tin can.

My last female had some health issues and ran up some bills, just curious what’s out there.

Plan on sending this one to training as well...

We’re actually doing her shots and worming.

This is our third lab, never had any issues with the other two.

Had the same thing happen to me once years ago when a new pup decided to eat a love seat, play frisbee with about 20 LPs, eat up a few pairs of shoes and a hole in the sheetrock wall when I left her inside to run to a store for about 1/2 hour.

Amazing what a bored dog can do when they get the desire to do it.

To the best of my knowledge, you can give the dog most of its shots but a rabies vaccine needs to be given by a vet. Last time I tried to get a rabies vaccine from a feed store they said the vets had lobbied to get that banned so you need to go to them or hit one of those SPCA Vaccination Days in the fall when they do the shots at local fire stations in the N.O. area.

Sorry. Can't help but laugh. I once had a parrot that dug a nest cavity into my couch. Giant freaking hole. So I can relate.

Same dog, but a few months later. My wife at the time was getting ready for work and showering. She took off her diamond and ruby ring and her glasses and set them on the kitchen table.

When she got ready to leave the ring was missing and the glasses were chewed up, so we knew it was the dog who got into them. After looking for the better part of an hour for the ring I figured the damn dog ate it and planned on letting nature take its course.

I spent the day rooting through her crap every time she went out and did find it the next morning totally unscathed sitting in a pile of dog crap. I pulled it out with a stick and let the wife wash it since she left it out where the dog could get it. Never made that mistake again......

In the spring the JP SPCA usually does shots at most of the playgrounds for like 25 bucks...

It's amazing what they can do in a short amount of time. She watched me leave out the front window then went to town. When I pulled in the driveway she was in the front window waiting.

I thought she was ready to be left alone for short periods lol. I guess not.

One of my Doberman puppies ate my emerald necklace that was on my dresser. Found parts of the chain in the house but never the pendant.

Same two little heathens tag teamed a giant box of china off a loveseat when we moved. Unreal. But they grew up to be a couple of fine, obedient dogs.

Haha. We started crate training after we bought a new house and left the pups to go to work. When we got home they had chewed through all the drywall trying to get out of there to find us. Ooooh, Mr. CT was pissed.

She's crate trained. I went to get some boat gas and forgot to put her up, said F it on the way out. Big mistake.
