From Shreveport, so I rarely had these isolated afternoon storms. I went to LSU, just graduated and moved to New Orleans. I'm "offshore" right now in the Quarantine Bay across the river from Buras. From what I've noticed, it seems being out here that these storms will hit here around noon, when I'm living in New Orleans around 2 PM, and Baton Rouge it was 4 PM. Is this typical or am I making wrong observations?

Yep. It's the late July through September pattern. Usually a dry spell through much of early June too. Always starts raining once you start cutting rice
