FYI, Jackson is finally about to release it. Thursday at 2:00pm they're having a Facebook Live launch. Can't wait to see this.

This is the new pedal drive that I'm most excited about. Will I buy one? Probably not.

I just don't care for Jackson, so I doubt I give them a look at all.

Why's that? I have a 2013 Cuda 14 and I really like it but that's my only experience with Jackson products. I've always said if I could combine the hull design of the Cuda with the layout/top side of the Slayer it would be my perfect setup. I have absolutely no use for in-hull storage.

This.

What do you like about the hull design? BTW, my new manta ray has a really interesting hull. Way different from my Slayer, and it just flies.

It's quicker than my Slayer and only just a little bit less stable. I'm less tired after paddling the Cuda all day than I am with the Slayer, most times when I do tournaments I take the Cuda because if that. It's lighter, much easier to load as well. The Slayer has a better seat and better layout though.

MSRP: $2999

I just can't bring myself to spend this much.

if over 100 lbs I want the titan. I was standing on the edge of the back corner and it stayed above the water line

I demo'd the Cuda and the Slayer. Cuda was definitely faster, but the layout of the Slayer was far more important to me. And I agree that with the weight and price of the Coosa FD, if I were to spend that much on a heavy yak, it's going to be on the Titan.

I want a Cuda/Slayer hybrid with a pedal drive and it be around 80lb and under $2000, is that so much to ask?

I know there's one OBer who's getting a Titan.

That's heavier than my Outback. Kind of surprising.

More than an Outback but less than a Pro Angler. It's probably priced right.

The live show was awesome. Sliding seat, adjusting the pitch, the prop flush to the hull when out the water, rudder flush hull design, running 4.5 mph top speed, clean the prop without pulling out the water, etc. Can't wait to get mine!
