I'm calling to two or three right now that has a hen with them, can't get them or the hen to budge.
Had one working at about 11 but the neighbor came through to fill his feeders and bumped him. Good thing I decided not to wander over his barbed wire

we got fricked this morning on public land
parked about 20 yards from a pipeline entrace, I didn't want to park right in front of the pipeline gate because I didn't want my truck in sight along the pipeline, so naturally this a-hole drives right past my truck, parks right in front of the pipeline gate, jumps out of his truck, and fricking runs down the pipeline like a fricking little coward
I've never wanted to slash someone's tires so bad in my life. I had been sitting there since 5 am, and this guy strolls up at 6:15 as I'm getting ready to walk in and does that
Oh well, I didn't hear him shoot
We worked 1 bird but he had a hen with him and she wouldn't work, she kept taking him in the opposite direction

Oh I yelled several times when we walked down the pipeline to talk to him, but he was already like 200 yards down there shining his light at us by the time we got over there

Great Hunt this a.m. , covered a lot of ground on my first hunt on this particular piece of property. heard one gobble. saw a hen fly down. after a while went wandering to get a feel for the place. ended up way off the property due to some miscommunication with ITISMEMC. had 4 jakes come in like they were studs, all blowed up spittin and drumming. great show. let em walk.

Nothing happening in MS for me this morning. Didn't hear any on the limb and heard one gobble once around 8:00, but he never answered me. I just heard him as I was on the move.
Stopped to check a new place on the way home. The property is really really thick so I'm not crazy about it, but there was turkey sign all over the 4 wheeler trails and small food plots, so I'm going to give it a try in the morning.

Hunted til 1030 heard and saw 0. Lots of sign though. Supposed to rain in the am. Never hunted birds in the rain. Any advice?

Awesome picture, would have shot first!
Had a great opener. Heard 3 gobbling all together. Set up and 40 minutes later I had a long hooked bird hanging on a limb. Would put pictures up but too damn tired. Spent the rest of the day trying to get a friends boy a turkey, whooped now. Ready to do it again in the am though!
