I hate deer hunting, missed my second one this year today. Not sure what I'm doing.

Be patient. Control your breathing when you shoot

Bow hunting will humble even the best of us. Make sure you are waiting for good shot opportunities on deer that aren't spooked.

First was a bad case of Buck fever plus sun directly in my eyes. Had to turn scope down to 6 and he was facing me head down at 210 yards. Today was a big old loner doe. Broad side 175 yds. Shot looked good but no blood, no deer, nothing. Only change was I put a lighter spring in my triggers and now they break about 1lb 10oz. Both accutriggers. Thinking about adding a little weight. Who knows. I've killed several at those ranges from the same spot I missed those in this year.
