Garhole box w foot3 in Rapides. Hogs have destroyed corn areas but will not be seen in daylight.
We may see a couple yearlings but he wanted to hunt here in spite of me telling him that his brother killing in it last week was just a fluke.
But here we are.
No button heads or spikes. Everything else will get our best attempt to kill it.
But realistically we will see nothing in this crap stand. He will be furious.
Foot2 is in the honey hole that has a couple nice bucks working the area.
I know what’s gonna happen. Foot3 is gonna be piiiisssseeeed.
Momma foot may even accuse me of being a shite Dad and hunter. We are slightly competitive at our house

Well shite. A nice 6 point walks right at us. Gets to about 100 and looks at stand and hangs up. Wheels around and goes away. I let foot3 take a shite at about 150 as he quartered.
Clean miss. Deer stood for like 30 seconds.
I shouldn’t have let him shoot. It woulda been a tough shot anyone.

Slow. 1 deer seen outta two stands.
Looked at tables and seems we are way off minor or major times.
I put corn out yesterday morning. Almost all gone. They must’ve fed all night.

Wanted to do the afternoon with the 13 year old, but it just keeps raining. I would go on my own, but he's not as keen as I am. Tomorrow.
