Finally comfortable weather
Bow in a lock on
Thought about sleeping because of radar but I was awake already. I’ll deal with a little drizzle but if it starts raining hard, I’m headed to the house. Will come back this afternoon.

Just a note, wear your harnesses guys. A guy I know fell from about 15’ yesterday and broke his femur. Lucky it wasn’t worse I guess.

I have lifeline setups on all of my lock ons and clip in as soon as I get to the tree, but I need to be better about wearing a lineman’s rope when I’m hanging or moving sets.

I’m seriously about ready to be done with this year. I put in more work this year than any other year before. Planted plots down one lane at each of my stands and hung feeders on each of the other lanes. I’ve been more this year than ever before and have seen 2 deer for a total of 10 minutes.

I’m not really giving up but shite this is frustrating.

It can be frustrating.. hang in there! You never know when one will pop out. I just had a doe materialize underneath my stand while I was snacking on a fig newton.
