Didn't hunt today, but did take a fine tour of the gravel roads of LaSalle Parish. Saw a really nice buck (big 8 I think) chasing a doe across a pipeline about 6 miles NNE of Jena. I was standing there on the side of my truck taking a leak when I saw them. I saw the arse end of the first deer (I'm assuming it was a doe based on the way he acted) go in the woods, then I sat there for a couple minutes shaking it and he came across. They were about 150yds. Saw a guy in Natchez with a buck (young 10pt I believe) on his trailer in the Dairy Queen drive thru.
