Is Amite in area 4 or 9?

Having a debate with my cousin who thinks it is in area 9, but I think it is area 4. Please help us out. By the way, I hope I am wrong.

yeah did that and looked at both the deer zone map along with a google map of the city's location. However, he still won't believe me that it is zone 4. just coming here to try and settle it. Thanks for the help

You must not be from around here. In Tangipahoa, North of the interstate is area 4 and south of the interstate is area 9. Amite is about 18 miles north of the interstate.

Well, we here on the OB can do a lot of things, but we can't fix your cousin's stupid.
