I'm going to get my CCL this weekend.

I just bought a S&W M&P Shield 9 yesterday and signed up for the class yesterday as well, I thought this was as good a time as ever.
I also just order a Fab Defense Vertical Grip with a built in Bipod for my AR, I will post pics when it comes in. Botach is taking fricking ages to mail it, has anyone else had problems with them??

The class merely gives you the certificate for the required "training" to apply for the permit. It will take quite some time for the backlog to be processed right now.

You should have known that already. I'm going take the class next weekend. I'm fully expecting not to have the permit in hand until January at the earliest.

Damn. I had no issue. Applied, fingerprints, and paid the end of March. Had my license in hand about 15 days later.

It is faster to go to LSP headquarters in BR and get fingerprinted electronically there...

Take care of two birds with one stone, I had a stubby grip on before but it really didn't fit the rest of my rifle especially since I have a scope on it.
