Got unit 13, addtl unit 12...we hunt 12. I am 2 for 2, but each year one of our group has not been drawn.

Iowa not much better but takes four years to get a tag there.

Well I do know in Missouri, the closer to Iowa the better. Southern Missouri whitetail isn't worth bothering for, so small compared to the northern half of the state. Iowa also didn't have rifle firearms til like last year for deer either. Plus all the corn

This is what I was told. I was expecting to put in with a group but they ended up applying without us. My dad and I applied together and didnt get drawn. They did.

My son and I got drawn for 13 and 12 also. We hunt 13 but, are looking at 12 this year also. This makes year 3 for me, year 1 for him. We are waiting for another guy in our group to see if was drawn or not.

Iowa is better but it takes at least 4 years to get drawn.
Kansas is generally pretty easy to get drawn, even on your first attempt.
