Lookie who it is

I had this issue after a year in my new house. I looked at everything in my garage/closets and if I didn't use it in the past year, it went in the attic. I have a little more room it sounds than you, because I bought 3 metal erector shelves and put them along the back wall of the garage. The only things on the ground now are lawnmower, deep freeze chest, tool chest, and garbage can. I would suggest buying wood shelving and supports and drill into your studs and create horizontal shelves running along the sides of the garage. It will probably be cheapest, not necessarily easiest. Shouldn't take more than a day if you have help. If you need help, you have my info

We thought about building a shed, but I would like to first see if adding storage space in the garage would negate the shed - because that seems like an expensive route. Now they do have those pre-made sheds at HD and places, which is all we would need. But those still are at least $1000.

If we add shelving to the garage it should solve the problem for a short term fix, until we move.

I think a little of this and of the ceiling mount the other guy posted will be the answer for now. All DIY stuff so if that still isn't enough, we will look into a shed.

Thanks guys
