Dated a lady, briefly, that was so into Nascar that her whole sunday revolved around watching that damn race, or preparing for it. Great person in every other aspect, her former husband was a surgeon and she didn't ever work and somehow adopted Nascar as a hobby.

I dated a girl on and off in high school whose family was like that. Sunday was NASCAR day. I never understood.

I think it's called beer drinking... The race is just a rallying point.

im sure it's harder than it looks, but, heck, it just reminds me of a typical saturday morning, running deer dogs in Union Parish, cb radios and all...

Yeah, I would be all over Nascar if it were one or two laps, had a water jump and at least one long stretch of ice.

AND made a pit stop to grab a 6 pack, a bag of pig skins and take a leak, then jump back in and go two more laps..

To each his own. We all get off on different things. At least it doesn't involved the combination of singing, dancing and tutu's or men in tights.

Back in the 60's 70's and 80's I understood and enjoyed it. A few guys built a badass car that could kick your car's arse. Run what you brung.

I also was a fan of the USAC dirt track, with Guys like POncho Carter, Jan Opperman, Jimmy Caruthers that was balls to the walls racing.

A 1100 lb car with 900hp on a clay track slinging the shite. Big ballz laying on a in & out transmission. Now that is racing you pussies. Dale was still racing limited late models on a 3/8's mile oval suckin teats
