Problem is, y'all aren't hunting in the right spot. I heard Toledo Bend is the place to kill 'em!

Couple of different private spots. Only place I've heard that has done ok is around Ninock but they hammer em every year.

Slow in our spots in cenla. Pretty good opening wknd. After a few days of shooting they've scattered with all the water. Drive by some fields last wknd that were loaded after seeing 7-8 birds total all morning where we hunted. No pressure = ducks right now. Need a push bad.

Not in LA but I can tell you in upstate NY we're still not seeing big pushes of birds from Canada. Extended forecast doesn't have us really getting below 30 with highs in the 50s. This time last year I had 6-8in of snow on the ground and everything but big lakes and rivers were frozen up.

They are coming. Walked outside this morning and for the first time this year I looked up and saw birds flying south and heard geese a blowing.

Grew up hunting Beouf River. Had some great memories hunting with my dad and friends. It never was the same for us after the green tree levees were put in.

I think you are talking about the green tree in Dewey wills. It is bone dry for the second year in a row.

Crazy anything could be dry now - If a duck hole isn't holding water after the last four weeks if rain in north Louisiana it's never holding water.
