How much to tip for an inshore charter trip?

Four person charter out of shell beach.
We bought the charter at an auction and I would think the guide donated the trip. I just want to make sure we tip him well.

$40 would be my guess. +/-$20 depending on how the day goes.

Yeah, we got it for 150 less than normal rate. 100 per person or 100 all together?
