Nothing there now besides the rye I just threw down to hold it for the winter.
When should I put the centipede down?
Fertilize?
TIA

I wouldn't seed. I'd look at getting a half pallet of sod. Cost may be a little more up front, but would outweigh the work needed to get seeds to grow in the long run. Just my opinion.

About one lbs. per 1000 ft2. You have 2400 ft2 so 2.5 lbs aprox.
I also would sod though, you will need much more than one half pallet though. 5 pallets would do the trick. I would put sod down as soon as you figure the last freeze has passed at this point, seed probably in march just to avoid wash off and/or feeding birds for the winter.

+1 for sod.
Cave is right, approx. 5 pallets should do it. Would take you probably half a day to do. And way less attention and headache than getting seed to take. Use a good starter fertilizer, buy some beer for a few buddies to help, and boom- instant yard.
ETA: probably looking at $600-700 for the sod
