Holster Sugg for a SW 32 Cal, old school short nose

Model 732 I believe, 32 cal, pops carries it in the woods, needs a holster, hip carry. Any suggestions appreciated. Short nose gun

You're gonna need either a generic holster that is a close fit or a custom one. Not sure if there are any mass produced holsters that are readily available for a .32.

Cool-its an old gun, my dad is 66 and he got it from his dad many moons ago-for some reason, he wont listen and wants to carry it in the woods-keep trying to get him to get a 9mm but nope, he likes that little snub nose

Tell him to look for some boot or saddle shops in his area. They could probably make one for him, plus it would be a pretty cool accessory for a family heirloom.

If it is an I-frame they are a bit smaller than the current j-frames (model 36,etc.)
He could bring it in to a gun shop and see if it fits one of the current j-frame holster - I think it might but be just a bit loose. If he uses a strap on it it won't matter
