Holly Beach/ Johnson bayou Fishing (added hoist pic)

Headed to a beach house near Holly Beach this weekend with some friends and want to do some fishing while we are there. Any reports/tips from this area?

You might try Hog Island gully for redfish

Wind was bad and water was rough and full of water lilies, so surf fishing was out of the question. We decided to fish a little area on the side of the road. Caught a 30" Red and this big ugly beast on cracked crabs and cut mullet.

Hahaha, thanks for the fitness tips. Getting lazy as I've entered my thirties. Got a nice workout from that drum at least
