Who's done it? What kind of light(s) did you use? I'm finally going to do it this year assuming the water is indeed receding at the camp. According to the law you can't hunt at night until the last day of Feb.

My boss does this in Texas. Subsonic 300 blackouts. Infrared scope. Sounds like a bunch of fun.

I knew some guys from Sabine Parish who did it this way..
unleash dogs, follow them riding mules
jump off mule onto hog's back
kill with knife
at night

Still plenty of energy in a large grain round like that.

We tried the lazy man's method and it worked well...
1) corn pile on logging road
2) trail cam to pattern hogs
3) set up in bed of pick up in lawn chairs 1 hour prior to trail cam action photos @ 50-75yds downwind
4) shooters with AR's and designated Q-beam operator
5) hogs show up, light man hits the lights, wait for them to settle, shooters unload

**Pigs are pretty loud when they show up so easy to know when they're there
**They typically run off when the lights hit them but come back 30seconds-1minute later
