Had a good time but the hog hunt itself wasn't what I enjoyed the most. Enjoyed the entire outing. We cooked fish in a gravy on an open fire for lunch.

Most impressive thing about the hunt was the programmed collars and the guy being able to tell us any given dogs' distance from us and whether the were moving or stopped. When they're stopped they're on a hog. It was neat. I told him it was almost like playing a video game.

We ended up with 5. The picture has 4 cause they left a boar in the woods.

Actually got 5. They left a boar in the woods.

Cleaning them

We actually left all the meat for the property owner. He had some relatives who came down from Wyoming.

Looks like a good trip. Imma have to get the dog tracking video game. That sounds pretty sweet.

Yeah pretty much. They keep the catch dog snapped until the others bay one or more.

The first time the catch dogs heard the others bark they were whimpering to get loose. They smelled blood and wanted some arse. There is only one in that pic but there were actually 3 altogether.

By the time we got to that small one they'd already kilt it.
