I never realized the lake was so fresh. I would have figured 3-5 ppt.

How are trout in there is beyond me, especially the size they are in Slidell?

How deep are the readings taken? Freshwater is on top of saltier water.

Ya that's true, depends on who ran these tests. They have some morons out there at LDWF/LSU, I would imagine if they did it the readings were taken from a bouy.

Private company might use their brain a little more. Trout and Redfish will find the salinity whether it's on the bottom or wherever.
