So I bought a Remington SPR 453 from Academy years ago (2009ish?) It was a Russian made gun that Remington sold for a few years

Over the weekend the "bolt cocking handle" fell out of the gun in the woods. I had to use a masterlock key to slide the bolt back to eject the shell in the chamber.

I called the number on the user manual and it has been disconnected. I searched online, even on the russian webiste and I can not find it.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go next?

Have you tried calling Remington's general customer service number?

1 (800) 243-9700

I would think they could at least point you in the right direction.

Maybe the action is sold under another name other than Remington? I know the Model 5 they used to sell in that same time frame is a Zastava MP22 action and you can parts under the Russian model name too which might be easier to find.

Looks like the Remington SPR 453 is the Baikal MP 153. Try searching that.

yeah I did that. The part is sold out. It's apparently a common problem

True. I didn't dive too far into Google, but it seems fairly common. Saw that some folks "gunsmithed" some custom ones.

Yeah this is proving to be a tough challenge

I saw the "gunsmithed" things with a guy using a drill bit but that's weird

I know your post is a little old but I came across it while searching for some other info. FYI the mossberg jm 930 bolt handles fit perfectly.
