The rubber mulch doesn't look good if you have leaves/pine needles mixed in. My experience is that if it washes out into the grass it makes a mess. It doesn't retain any moisture for the plants and doesn't suppress weeds.

I just picked up 100 and by the time I laid out the bags in near each area, it won't be enough...thanks for the tip on the code though...

Rubber mulch runs about $6 a bag and is less than a cu. foot

I'd need 250 bags of rubber mulch to cover what the traditional covers@ 2 cu. feet per bag...in the long run I'd probably be better off but the savings wouldn't show for like 10 years...(fuzzy math)
