Got back a little bit ago. I cleaned nine, none had eggs. They're definitely moving up, it definitely takes a lot patience to put them in the boat, but the fish are there.

Maybe he only caught nine. Lying fricker.

Green pumpkin then when the rain started watermelon red.

Heard they were biting on reds also and lizards.

Will try all tomorrow.

Almost every bite was as soon as the bait hit the water.

Caught 9 keepers today.

Had 4 at or over 4 lbs.

Threw a fluke at a fish swimming away in clear water, it stopped looked up and swallowed the bait.
I saw down its throat as it took the bait.
I have never in my life witnessed something like that while fishing.
It was 4+ lbs.
That may be my best fishing memory ever.
I can't quit thinking about it.
And yes I caught the fish.....

Flukes and grass. That was the key today.

Yea we have done that a good bit... you can sometimes slowly swim the fluke back to you and they'll come get it... you heard any reports from Toledo? I'm headed there Wednesday

Someone here gave a report.

Not sure ....beat the banks.

Housen should be on. Maybe 1215.

We may go this weekend unless we hit IC again.

Good Luck

Yea I'm sure Housen is on... I'll probably be around there or Indian mounds... heard 1215 had some moving up but they may not be a bunch like it would be further south

Looks like another year of missing it at IC for me. Oh well. I had fun with the perches.

Housen has been pounded with 2 giant tournaments.
Even Patroon had tons of boats.
Heard San Patricio has lots of big fish biting and that may be because of less traffic.
With the warm weather and rising water temps it's only a matter of time for 1215 to blow up.
I've fished from the dam to Bison and have never caught more fish at one time than at 1215.

let me know how you do...

Almost mentioned Slaughter because one of my buddies wears it out, but because he is biased about that spot and Bug Island I usually don't mention them...

I will be there April 11-20 hopefully ~fingers crossed~

Yea the Bend was on fire Friday all three of us caught our limit of keepers. Throwbacks kept things going all day.

Do Housen/Indian Mounds and if they don't bite there's always: Slaughter Creek, San Patricio, Patroon, Bug Island, Herman's Hump, Piney Point, Carrice Creek, San Miguel, Lanans, Palo Gaucho, Clear Creek, 1215 or Bison
