Halo Daylight rods are buy one get 2 free right now. (Gen 1 Rods) You choose the rod you pay for and the other 2 are randomly chosen. $89.00 plus $25 shipping.

Most people have been buying one casting and getting another and a spinning rod. Seen where 1 guy got 2 spinning as his freebies. Hoping I get all casting.

I personally haven't tried them but seen more positive than bad reviews. I read they have a decent warranty so I figured 3 rods at 1/2 off each was a deal worth trying. I can provide a review in a week or so. Sale has been going on since Christmas so it might make it another week or so if you want to wait.

Had a guy tell me about this so I text my buddy who will be fishing the elite series this year. He told me they're garbage and wouldn't use them if they were free.

I get the feeling A LOT of these fishing rods that run $79-$99 are all the same Chinese blanks just wrapped different and stamped with different names. I've gone through vendettas and veritas gen 1s and custom wrapped mud hole blanks that all break in the same spot.

I agree on the mass produced Chinese blanks as a possibility. I do have 3 Vendettas that I have had for years and have held up well as long as you don't step on them on the deck.

Got them in today. Rods are light and well balanced. Blanks are true and the guides are straight. 8 guides from the tip down 18" of the rods which is weird. The usual plastic reel seats but holds the reel just fine. I hope to test the action, sensitivity and durability withing the next few weeks. From the looks of it well worth the money spent.
