The Stark Varg motocross bike is electric. It weighs 240 pounds and produces 80hp. That’s is 1 hp per 3 pounds. Reviews say that it’s easier to ride than a 450 MX bike, while producing 35 percent more power.

The power is instant and easy to handle.

I can’t imagine what it’s like in that sxs. I would be scared of what it would cost to replace those batteries after they are outside of that 5 yr warranty

I have been wondering about them. I have had the older models. I think the last was was traded in in 2018-2019? It was a 2016 model. They started rattling pretty bad, but I’m sure that was loud to me and couldn’t be heard 30 yards out. The batteries were seemed like shite to me. There were always electrical problems with it after season 2.

Supposedly, they worked all the kinks out and changed the type of batteries. I’ll wait another year and see how the reviews are looking

I have a Pioneer 1000/5, it'll do what I need it to and get to 65mph on the highway. I can also use it trail riding and go about 100 miles on a tank (it was about $18k OTD). Knowing what I know now, I'd opted for a souped up eclectic golf cart, sneaking up on wildlife is great.

Y’all are putting a lot of stock in “sneaking” up on wildlife. Are we to assume there are no squeaks, no rattles, no suspension noise, no tire sounds??

I’ve had one of these before, they are great when they are new. Expensive as they age, and they are ALWAYS needing to be charged. And they ain’t quiet enough to sneak up on sh!t.

Where I hunt if you can hear the engine of a 4 wheeler coming, then you can hear the wheels hitting water puddles and mud.

I made one hunt at a place in St Francisville that had electric carts and rock roads. They were loud as hell on those roads.

Guess you’ve never driven a RZR Turbo.

I’d bet a Ranger XP with tune will have comparable acceleration with the Ranger Kinetic, but the XP will have a higher top speed. My XP goes 70+. The Kinetic has a top speed of 60.

For a hunting rig I bet the Kinetic is sweet. Sucks they don’t offer it in a crew cab.

Alright, I guess I'll have to derail the thread for a moment.

Honestly most people haven't since they are priced so high and more of a dune sxs. Have you driven a pro R?

It sucks because I'm a motor head guy but that's absolutely untrue just by theory. The instantaneous torque from electric motors is un-comparable.

What tune are you running? Gilomen? Clutched too? I honestly want to know Because I'm looking into it for mine. My XP tops out at 62.
