That would be relevant if the BCS committee came back after that game and said you know what... they didn't win that game when the question was settled in November and had to sneak in and steal it so we're giving it back to the rightful owners.
But they didn't, Gumps learned thieving of trophies has no consequences, and you end up having to lock up the damn meat lockers all across Alabama now.
