Any good reports?

Taking the party barge, ice chest full of beer, ice chest full of food and the BBQ pit. Got around 500 crickets, hoping for around 300 goggle eyes.

You're missing out if you've never been. Some of the best freshwater fishing in the state is within the saline/Larto complex. Bass, bream, white perch, whatever floats your boat.

Man you sure are right about that, I grew up fishing all of that as a kid with my grandparents.

Been helping my dad build a camp out there. He destroys the sac a lait there.

Grandparents go a few times a year and camp.

They brought in about 1200 in 3-4 days. Dunno how the old man cleaned em all. I would have given up after 3-4 hundred.

Getting there is a royal PITA. Good luck if you go. I love that place. Even I can catch white perch, and that's saying something. I stay out of larto mostly though and stick with Saline.

This is my spot! We have a camp on Cross Bayou (best jigs in the state). I have an acre on Larto I got 3 years ago for nothing when the school board divided that piece on the west end. My dad just jacked up a new camp so I'm sitting on it. The adjacent lots are going for 35k and still worth it. Great squirrel and teal hunting and big deer if you work for them. I want to sell my lot and get on the water at Cross, but the camps for sale are run down and way high. My family owns 4 camps on cross off the water, but there is one I got my eye on if it comes up?

Were do people teal hunt at there? I know the lake area good. Fished it many times over the years.

A buddy of mine has a place up there, shoot a limit of ducks in the morning and catch sac au lait in the afternoon. I really like it up there, well except that one time the owner of the bar shot at us with a shotgun.
