Have to admit.
Glock made a good move by coming out with a long slide 10mm.
Any reason why they made it longer than a 34/35? Seems you'd want them to fit in the IDPA box.

The Tenifer is applied in Austria. Unless Obama has signed an executive order expanding the EPA's authority into Europe, this is still an urban myth promulgated by Ruger fanboys and other assorted Glock haters.
Tenifer = liquid ferritic nitrocarburizing
Melonite = liquid ferritic nitrocarburizing
Both produce the same results and both are applied UNDER the final finish which has changed over the years. Those that complain about the "wear" of the perceived "inferior" finish of whatever is or isn't Tenifer are idiots. Nitrocarburizing cases the metal, it's not coating because it penetrates into steel. Whatever wear resulting from holsters or normal shooting isn't affecting the Tenifer/Melonite, it's affecting what is being applied after it.

Anyone here feel that if Kriss had to do it all over again, that they would have made the Kriss Vector initially in 10mm instead of .45?
Just seems that if you are going to have a subgun, that you'd use the hotter round.
Seems like it would make more sense to have gone 10mm for a subgun over a .45.

He hit the guy in the chest with a 9 mm round. He died but hit 7 of 8 agents after receiving the fatal wound.
Then there was Kenneth Tornes. Killed three fire chiefs in Jackson. Officer hit him in eye wwith 9mm at 50 yards. Bounced off his skull and lived back in 90s.
9mm rounds much better now.

All self-defense ammo is much better now.
