Glenfield Mod. 30A 30-30 Parts calling Marlin Experts

Hopefully someone here may be able to offer some assistance. I lost the front clip that holds the barrel to the magazine tube on my 30-30. Tried to order it from Jims and the the band fits around the barre, but the screw is too big to fit between the barrel and tube. All the parts I am finding online are for the "Front Clip New Style" with the same part number as what I got from Jims, so I am assuming I have the old style. where can I find the correct front clip?
From the research I have done, the Glenfield 30A is a rebranded 336. Is this correct?

Thanks. I actually have both the new style band and screw but the diameter is too big and I would have to bore out the slot on the barrel and the tube. I was tryign to find the old style so I don't have to make that modification, but I am having no luck.
ETA: Re-reading my OP it didn't make sense. Hopefully this clears it up.

Take the gun with you to your closest ace hardware. They will have a little section of gun screws.

Check Numrich gun parts.
This^^^ Generally your best source for gun parts. If a part can't be found at Numrich it doesn't generally work out well.
You might also check the Marlin Forum.

Thanks! I checked both and ended up finding this.
Thought I would post it just in case someone else was searching for it. Looks like I will have to file out the channel.
ANSWER- Marlin Doesn't sell the Old Style Anymore

I spoke with a very knowledgeable guy at Marlin customer service today about the change from old style to new style front band screws for model 336.
The change to a larger screw occurred in 1984 at the same time as the cross-bolt safety was introduced. Thus, all of our pre '84 336 models have the small screw setup.
Marlin sells only current model replacement parts, so the old style screws have to be acquired from individuals and companies that deal in old firearm components.
Converting to the larger diameter screw does require enlarging the barrel and mag tube channel that the screw fits through. This would seem to be a fairly precise filing project with respect to location and size.
Handle your pre '84 front barrel bands and screws with extreme care. They are truly an endangered species.
