I realize there's a lot of charcoal snobs out there, but Lowe's has the 2 pack Kingsfords for $9.88...

Stock up.... while it's cheap...

I buy a double pack from sam's only to see multiple sales going on elsewhere. Not sure of the price difference though.

Sam's is usually $17.99 for the twin pack...

Lowe's always has that sale once a year, either for Memorial Day or Father's day... so I usually stock up on them. I always take a few bags to the camp...

Same here. I bought some cheap Safeway brand charcoal out of need and it was shite. It's like they soaked it in gas, it was either on fire or ash.

I used to use that until I saw a "How it's made" program that showed them mixing in actual coal before the briquets were formed.
