Here George says the man most responsible for stirring controversy, increasing racial tensions, and honoring a man who was deemed at fault by the American court system, was Barack Obama. I can't say I really blame him.

Regardless of how the incident started, if a 6 foot, 200+ pound guy is straddling my chest and pounding my face into the pavement, I don't give a damn what the color of his skin is. That's a lethal threat, plain and simple.

George Zimmerman: Thanks Obama

I don't have much respect for the guy, and I think he's got a screw loose. To be honest.

Zimmerman? Not saying you're wrong in not having any respect for him... Or that I believe he was right.

But I'm sure I'd be a little thrown off after killing someone in what I believed at the time was simply self defense. Then being the center of every local and national news and media outlet, where the majority of which essentially said it was a hate crime on an innocent boy. Threats on his life before and after the ruling for attempting to defend his own. That's got to have an impact on someone's psychological state.

100% agree. I can't imagine how paranoid he is on a daily basis and rightfully so.

Meh, he brought it upon himself. And stuff like this doesn't help him.

Yeah I don't disagree that it wasn't avoidable if he wasn't trying to be a hero and bring civilian justice to a neighborhood watch. Also that him going on here and calling out the president after he's been forgotten about for the most part isn't the best or even a somewhat intelligent move from a "PR" stand point, just saying that if he didnt have a "screw loose" before all this him having one now is much more understandable.

If you're trying to describe Travyon, this ain't him. Travyon didn't weigh 200 if he was soaking wet & had several bricks in his hands but your overall point is valid.

Agree that GZ shouldn't go away mad, he should just go away.

Yeah, GZ made Trayvon backtrack several hundred feet to pick a fight. Good one.

Thanks for clearing it up. I guess I exaggerated but my overall point is that people pretending Martin was a typically-sized teenager are foolish.

And I have no problems with him not going away quietly. It shows how screwed up the system is when the president can go on national TV and make you into a public enemy before the court case even begins.

If you had to defend yourself from a lethal threat and the president and other corrupt politicians/leaders made you into an enemy before even the state department decided twice that no civil rights were violated, would you be pissed? The Florida courts werent even going to press charges and only did so after immense political pressure. They knew there wasn't a case yet it became a national spectacle that we will all remember forever.

So would you go away quietly as well? I sure as hell wouldn't after being treated like a criminal before the court case even began.
