Gautreaux's In Gonzales? - Hustler ZTM?

So I'm tired of working on old junk lawn mowers I've been limping along for the last few years. I have an acre to cut and want to buy something dependable with a warranty. Gautreaux's lawn and garden is close to the house. Anyone do business with them before? Are the Hustler mowers good mowers?

For what you will be doing, a hustler will be fine. What motor does that one have on it?
I can't say anything about Gautreaux's though, i have never been there.

Well per their website most are Kohler 7000's and a few with Kawasaki. I don't have experience with Kawasaki so I'd tend towards Kohler. On my last two old mowers the Kohler engines were fine it was just the mower itself that gave me issues. Deck issues, clutch issues, fuel pump issues. Just always something.

Yeah, i would lean towards a Kohler as well. I have a Kawasaki on a Lesco walk behind that still runs great. I wouldn't think you would have many problems with what you want to do with it.

5 years on a Gautreaux Hustler ztr and only changing oil and airing up tires for maintenance.
My buddy also has one and it lasted 5 years cutting acres (not sure how many but a few]. He eventually bought a tractor.

Hustler is as good of a choice as any in that price range, gautreauxs pretty much caters to the commercial guys, they will always get priority service, just know that going in, I had a sour experience with them once but no need to go into details
Try going down the street to Gonzales hardware , not sure what brand ZTR they carry but they are great people and will make you happy

Am highly pleased with Gautreaxs service and with my Hustler mower. They'll actually come pick up your mower and return it after service is done.

Did you buy that warranty they have on their website?

Your title confused me, OP.
Yes, Hustlers are good mowers.
