My in-laws and I disagree on alligators.

We have a property on Hilton Head where a lady was walking her dog.

Gator killed her and the dog.

I say get rid of the gators in the neighborhood. Let them live out in the swamp and all that shite.

But kids ride their bikes right up to the pond…..a lot of them from the inland that don’t know.

People fish right on the bank.

I say get rid of the gators in the neighborhood.

how do you edit that video and think to yourself that rubbing his arm for 10 seconds was a quality video footage....

My man knew that the overwhelming majority of people who are going to click on a gator attack video would be men.

I skipped that ten seconds somehow on first viewing.

Just stay out of places where gators are. It's pretty simple. dont swim in the lakes where a 12 foot alligator lives. We have one in our pond in the back yard. I see him every day. When ever I need to go outside my pool fence, I look around for him, in the water and on land

I don’t disagree, just not everyday I see an overhead view of a fella getting his head chomped by one.

The range and population of gators is rapidly expanding. I'd rather have a policy of liberal hunting seasons to greatly reduce the numbers of large and dangerous alligators.

There will still be plenty of places where large gators can exist. I'd prefer them not to be in a neighborhood lake or pond.

Years ago when I was a young man it was nothing for me and some friends to go water skiing in the lakes, canals and bayous of St. Bernard Parish with no concerns of predator attacks.

Now, you couldn't pay me to get in the water in those same areas with the amount and size of gators in those waters.

Their population has really exploded over the years and they seem to be just about everywhere.

That one is slipping my mind, but I do remember the old lady in Del Webb on the mainland that got killed, and the video of the old man fishing that damn near got eaten on the island, all in the last year or two.

Too many alligators and people trying to inhabit the same space on HHI. It's a matter of time before some little kid gets eaten alive before the DNR will do anything about it. And the HHI residents are airheads from Ohio who won't demand any action and may even in fact take the alligator's side when such an attack happens, just like they did with the two stories I just mentioned.

These are the same idiots that think fishing attracts sharks to the beach.
