About 4 hours from when you get back to the dock till you hit the road home. It's a pain but well worth it.

That was an awesome video, I think they actually used a rubber band as a release. I don't have the Kahuna's to do that with mine yet.

I haven't gotten into the drone thing at all yet but I love to fish kites and it always seem to be too windy or not enough wind. I've tried helium balloons but you've got to keep the tank and I've found they're not good if your baits are over 3-4" or so.
I would think a downrigger release clip or rubber band would work but you want to make sure a bite won't sink your drone. You can adjust the tension on an outrigger clip but those aren't cheap if this is just an experiment.
I suppose it would be easy to rig some flotation to the drone in case it crashes in the water but I don't know how water tolerant they are/ can be. Also curious if you have to constantly man the controls once you've got it flying where you want it.

Looked like a blast. Hard work pays off when it comes to fishing. Congrats.

Awesome job with the editing... Really comes off as a slick production.

Nope. Where u drive it to and release the controls is where it stays

Thanks, glad u appreciate it. Now I just need to let the inner Spielberg in me out and make some "artsy" shots.
