Must have been before my time. None of what you and alx are talking about rings a bell.

Pline sucks. shite's always breaking on me. Not the 12 lb though, only the 15 lb. it's strange.

My best guess is blackjack. Would need pic of whole tree or mature fruit to be more sure.

I can do that but for mature fruit we will have to wait a few months.

retie every 3 fish unless fishing heavy cover.

Let me know how it does. Maybe I have a bad spool. The 12lb has been awesome. But I've lost more spinnerbaits and cranks on the 15 lb than ever. And sometimes it just fails on the cast, not even snagging something.

I agree I hate the flouro I recently put on my spinning rod. Memory is bad as well as backlash and tangle. I have never had that problem ever on a spinning reel before. Its not worth the added hassle.

You guys bitching about Fluoro - what brand are you using?
I have had an Okuma Serrano spooled with gray casting Sugoi fluorocarbon for over a year now and it's still working beautifully. It was expensive up front but I'm not having to change it out every few trips.
The line jump on the spin reels is either from spooling on too much line or to a lesser degree really cheap fluoro line.
Best fluoro's I've used...Seaguar, Shooter, Sugoi
