Fishing with the wife.........

I never thought it would be that fun. Most of them like to fish just as much as we do. Hell she caught more white perch than I did. I even showed her how to flip, now she wants fishing poles like mine........so whats you thoughts.

I'll only bring mine if I know that she will catch fish, such as fishing a bream bed or white perch. As long as she is catching fish, she is happy, even though it seems like work for me because I have to take her fish off.
If the fish aren't biting, it is miserable. She'll lay out for a bit, but after she tires of that, she gets bored rather quickly.

I say buy her all the badass setups you can, then bring her fishing on a miserable, cold, raining, no-fish-biting day. That way she'll hate it and never want to go again, and you're stuck with all this badass fishing equipment and you'll have no choice but to use it so it doesn't get rusty

My girlfriend loves fishing. I gave her an old welders glove so she can take her own fish off the hook. No problem with an extra hand putting fish in the cooler..

My wife and I used to fish some. I enjoyed her company. The goin to the bathroom issue was always a drag. She was always there when I couldn't find anybody else to go, hunting or fishing. That's if the weather was semi okay.

mine likes to fish as well but I have to help her with the unhooking part from time to time. She hasn't mastered the hard head grab or flip.

Is my wife the only one that is afraid to tell you when she is hung up? Like she we will wait till we are 200 yards down the bank to finally tell me.
Here would be a typical scenario:
wife: "uh...babe...I'm kinda...hung up..."
me: "ok, have you tried pulling it?"
wife: "...no, not really"
me: "ok, well reel in your line tight, and try to pull hard."
wife: "can you just do it for me?"
me: sigh "ok...hold on"
wife: "umm, you will probably have to motor back to it"
me: "what? why? where are you hung up?"
wife: "...back there" points to stump 300 yards down the bank
me: "goddammit woman..."
